About the Event
A restorative yoga sequence typically involves only four to six poses, supported by props that allow you to completely relax and rest. Held for 5 minutes or more, restorative poses include light twists, seated forward folds, and gentle backbends. We will use props such as blankets, bolsters, pillows, rolled up towels, yoga blocks, eye covers and neck pillows. You do not need to go and buy props. All you need is a few towels and pillows and a throw blanket or two. If you have the other props you are set too.
NO experience is necessary. The poses are simple. Your poses will be catered to your individual body's ability. You will not be turned into a pretzel.🙀 You will have he ability to adjust when necessary and come out of the pose if needed, or stay longer. Falling asleep IS an option.😸
Find a quiet warm place with low lighting, dress warmly and be prepared to relax. I usually recommend wearing socks and long leggings or sweats with a comfortable long sleeve shirt. Eye coverings are also nice.
