HOPE - my word for 2022

My word to start this year is HOPE.

My favorite definition is the backronym I created on New Year’s Eve.

Have

Optimistic

Perceptions

Everyday

The start of a new year is an opportune time to take stock of what we are carrying with us, and what we can unload.

Clean out our houses; physical, mental, spiritual, and environmental.

Create space, close unnecessary doors so that new ones can open.

De-clutter our minds and bodies.

Let go of the beliefs that are not benefiting us.

Eliminate thoughts that can hold us back from being the best we can be, this year.

Last year may have been tough, but we can make this one Great!

The pandemic is not over… Yet.

Yet enables Hope, provides opportunity and so much more.

What does hope mean to you?

To help define it try this little exercise; create your backronym with the word HOPE.

For example:

H = Happiness, Health

O = Open, Observing, Optimism

P =People, Peace, Patience

E = Enlightenment, Enduring, Excitement

I’d love to hear your choices.
