April 24 is The big day to plan out your bucket list and get into action. National Bucket List Day!
This holiday was started by 57 year old Cindy Lee, a travel blogger, writer and podcaster, as a way to inspire people to pursue their dreams and live their lives to the fullest. It encourages people to create and fulfill their bucket lists, which are lists of experiences or accomplishments they want to achieve before they "kick the Bucket".
People are encouraged to reflect on their lives and think about the things they have always wanted to do. This could be anything from traveling to a specific destination, learning a new skill, or taking on a new challenge. The holiday is all about making a plan to achieve these goals and take action towards living them. Many also share their bucket list goals with friends and family and encourage others to create their own lists.
“The biggest thing is to overcome your fears,” said Lee.
Overall, National Bucket List Day is a day to celebrate life and all of the amazing things it has to offer.
It's a reminder to take the time to think about our goals and dreams, and go for it!
What is on your bucket list?
